Sian has more than 25 years teaching and managing experience in many different kinds of educational setting. She has worked with a wide variety of Special Educational Needs and is currently working with children with acquired brain injuries as part of the Hospital Education Service in two different LEAs, reintegrating pupils into existing or new schools as it has become appropriate in their recovery. She has been awarded a PhD from University of Bath for her research into the learning of children and young people after brain injury. Sian also edits The Acquirer, a publication for those involved in education and ABI
