The Roald Dahl Charitable Foundation have again made a generous donation to the funding for SHIPS. This will allow us to continue to support children and young people who have sustained an ABI in the region.
The Roald Dahl Foundation is a grant making trust set up in 1991 in memory of Roald Dahl, to continue to support causes impoartant to him during his lifetime. The Foundation provides practical support for children and young people with brain, blood and literacy problems through its support of hospitals, charities and individual children and their families.
SHIPS is not the only project supported in the South-West. The Roald Dahl Foundation has also made grants recently to Headway Devon for its Children's Centre, the Jessie May Trust for the care of children with neurological conditions in their own homes and the West of England School and College for computers for visually impaired students.
