University of Bath Student Rag Committee has chosen SHIPS as one of the charities to receive funding this year.  On Friday 4 May, Sian Rees accepted a giant cheque on behalf of SHIPS from Nathan Lawrence the incoming Webmaster for Bath Rag.   She was particularly pleased to receive the cheque, as the SHIPS project emanated from research she has been undertaking for her PhD in the Department of Education at the University.  'Through the assistance of the University we have been able to support young people in the area who have faced life changing illnesses or accidents.  We are very grateful for the assistance we have been given.'
